WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW

Lairg Community Market was set up by Heather, a local trader of books and handmade baby clothing Rusty Coo Clothing and owner of The Rusty Coo on Lairg's Main Street - with the help of Lairg Community Centre.
After travelling to other markets across Ross-shire and Sutherland, it seemed that Lairg should have one, being the Crossroads of the North! So the Community Centre and I set about putting on a monthly one here.

We plan to run the market through the whole year (excluding January), to include local people and surrounding areas, so they can sell their crafts, produce, art, plants, etc, nearer to home!

We launched the first market on Tuesday 18th September 2018, and have run through to the present. The day has now shifted to the 3rd Monday of each month, as of 2021.
Dates can be found on the left of the page.

A STALL AT EACH MARKET IS £8 (6ft) or £4 for a half table (3ft). We are currently unable to cater for additional tables, due to limited space (Covid regs). Please enquire via our Contact page for further information.

We'd like to encourage all local traders, whether big or small, commercial or hobby crafters, to come and sell their wares and have a little fun doing it!**
